Privately held manufacturing software firm Eyelit said it had tripled its first-quarter license revenue and recorded a 75% total company revenue growth since the same quarter last year, which was led by CIGS company Solyndra for its 500MW Fab2 project. Also of note was SolarWorld’s new solar wafer production plant in Freiberg, Germany.
"We are off to a great start for 2010; we expect increased contribution from our install base, as a result of a record-high number of new customer wins in 2009,” commented Dan Estrada, VP of sales and business development. “We’ve hired and are continuing to hire employees to support the demand from our growing customer base. We are also seeing a rebound in the semiconductor industry, with our turnkey migration solution offering semiconductor manufactures a risk-free migration from legacy MES systems, such as FACTORYworks, PROMIS, and Workstream, to Eyelit’s modern MES solution."
Eyelit also said that its overall company staffing grew by more than 25%, with a 60% increase in consulting services during the first quarter to support the growing global demand for Eyelit products.
