A small fire broke out at REC Solar's manufacturing facilities in Tuas, Singapore this morning.
So far no deaths or injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is unknown.

The fire was extinguished quickly and originated from an exhaust duct on the roof.
REC said in a statement none of its production equipment has been affected.
The fire was recorded at 11am local time (around 4.30am UK time).
REC deployed its emergency response team, and the company said the fire brigade and Singapore’s civil defence force arrived promptly to help extinguish the fire.
“We are thankful that this situation was quickly contained and greatly appreciate the quick actions of SCDF. We are continuing to work with them to determine the cause,” a company statement said.
The integrated solar facility in Tuas opened in 2010, following an investment of US$2.5 billion from Singapore’s government.
REC solar previously stated business was going well after receiving financial incentives for its business in Singapore.
