A Texas headquartered contractor firm Fluor has signed a five year operations and maintenance contract with a member of LS Power Group, Arlington Valley Solar Energy II for a solar power facility in Arizona.
Fluor has recently began constructing the 125MW PV facility located on about 1,160 acres site size in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Matt McSorley, senior vice president of Fluor power business, said: “Fluor is looking forward to continuing our work on the AVSE II project as we complete the construction phase and move into operations and maintenance. Fluor has a 35-year legacy of providing O&M services to our customers in the Power sector, and we are pleased to expand our work in the renewable energy market.”
The company estimates the facility would produce enough renewable energy to cover the region’s electricity needs eliminating the dependence on fossil fuels.
