Former BTU exec Boris Mathiszik joins Innovalight as VP of worldwide sales

Innovalight has hired Boris Mathiszik as its new VP of worldwide sales. He joins the silicon ink-based high-efficiency solar cell materials and technology company from BTU International, where he was managing director for Asia.

Mathiszik will be charged with building Innovalight's sales organization and leading the company's expansion plans with customers internationally. He has relocated from China to the firm's headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA.

Based in Shanghai since 2006, he led rapid sales growth in the region across six offices as well as managing all of BTU's manufacturing operations in China. Before his stint at BTU Mathiszik was VP of sales for phoenix x-ray, which was acquired by General Electric.

Mathiszik graduated from the European Business School in Frankfurt and also holds an MBA from San Diego State University.
