New EU WEEE regulations coming into force will be met in France by a consortium of PV manufacturers and industry body, PV CYCLE.
A host of companies are expected to jointly work on the management of WEEE-compliant take-back and recycling services for the French PV market, according to PV CYCLE.

PV CYCLE France has been established to work with the PV CYCLE Association in managing the collection and recycling of end of life or discarded modules with respect to WEEE-compliance for French members.
The compliance also includes reporting as well as administrative and financial obligations for companies or others that bring PV modules into the French market
Currently, PV CYCLE France includes, EDF Energies Nouvelles, Urbasolar and Sillia Energie
