Gary Gerber joins Tigo Energy’s Advisory Board

Tigo has announced the addition of industry veteran Gary Gerber to its Board of Advisors. Mr. Gerber, President and Founder of Sun Light and Power, a solar installer based in northern California, brings years of solar thermal and solar electric system design experience to the Tigo Energy Advisory Board.

Mr. Gerber, who classes Tigo Energy as “definitely a solar company to watch,” founded Sun Light and Power in 1976, has been teaching architects, engineers and homeowners about renewable energy systems for over 10 years at the Building Education Center and Foothill/DeAnza College. He has published articles on photovoltaics and solar hot water in the Journal of Light Construction, has served on the Board of Directors of Architects, Designers, Planners for Social Responsibility since 1996, and currently serves as President of the Board for the California Solar Energy Industry Association.  He also co-founded Build it Green, a state-wide green building not-for-profit organisation.
