Greenvision, Marseglia subsidiaries sign letter of intent for 13MW park, Italy

Greenvision Ambiente and the Marseglia Group's respective subsidiaries, Greenvision Ambiente Photo-Solar and KM Energy, have signed a letter of intent for the construction of a 13MW photovoltaic park in Calabria, Italy.

The 34 hectare plant has been designed and developed by Greenvision Ambiente Photo-Solar and is expected to provide enough energy for approximately 6,500 families. The Marseglia Group, based in Monopoli, is one of Italy's main renewable energy sources, with installed power output of over 150MW, 20 MW of which is from PV parks.

If the companies' plans run according to schedule, the Calabria park will go online before the end of 2010.
