Hans-Juergen Stangl steps down as president of IPVEA board

Hans-Juergen Stangl of Stangl Semiconductor Equipment has stepped down from his position as president of the IPVEA board of directors due to personal reasons. Current VP of the board of directors, Sven Jarby from Oerlikon, will fill the position until the next elections on September 7, 2010 during the 25th EU PVSEC in Valencia, Spain.

Sven Jarby said that the IPVEA board would soon be inviting members to apply as candidates for the open position. The IPVEA board expressed its gratitude for Stangl's involvement and guidance in the position since the foundation the association in early 2008.
