HelioPower appoints new personnel for executive positions

HelioPower has welcomed two new additions to its executive management team, including Ty Jagerson who originally joined HelioPower as executive vice president of commercial sales when the company was acquired by Simple Energies earlier this year. Jagerson was formerly co-founder of SolFocus and CEO of Simple Energies and will now be President of HelioPower. Additionally, Todd Lindstrom has been chosen as the new chief operating officer.

"Ty's performance since he joined HelioPower speaks for itself and this promotion is well deserved," said Ian Rogoff, HelioPower's executive chairman.  "We're also excited that Todd has agreed to join HelioPower.  Todd brings extensive sales, engineering and construction experience in solar and renewable energy to our management team, and we look forward to his contributions to the company's continued growth."

Lindstrom was formerly with Solar Power, which he joined in 2006 and was a founding executive. He is credited with leading 16MW of completed solar power construction and developing the renewable energy pipeline of awards and contracts to over US$150 million.

"Todd joins us at a key juncture and we're expecting his energy industry experience to be an important growth accelerator for us," said Ty Jagerson, president of HelioPower. "Todd is an established figure in the industry and it's a strong validation that he's chosen to join HelioPower."

A clear picture of 2012 is offered through papers from the likes of TÜV Rheinland, Fraunhofer ISE, SEMI PV Group and EPIA, amongst others.
