Innovative Solar Systems set to construct 80MW project in North Carolina

PV developer Innovative Solar Systems (ISS) has achieved all necessary approvals and is cleared to begin construction on a 80MW solar farm in North Carolina.

ISS has earned approvals for interconnection deals, power purchase agreements and state regulations regarding the 80MW Innovative Solar 46 farm, which will be located in Hope Mills, North Carolina.

 While ISS is ready to commence work on the project, which will stand as the largest solar farm project ever built in the US east of the Rockies upon completion, the company has yet to find an owner for the farm. ISS has already netted a 15-year power purchase agreement for the project.
