Europe’s largest PV exhibition, Intersolar Europe continues to experience a decline in the number of exhibitors and range of companies across the supply chain with around 1,100 exhibitors, down from 1,330 in 2013 and just ahead of numbers back in 2008.

Touted as the largest international exhibition for visitors from different countries, Intersolar Europe organisers did not reveal expected geographical breakdowns, claiming an expected 50,000 visitors, the same as in 2013.

With the number of exhibitors down by more than half those seen at the show’s peak in 2011, only six halls were being used for the mainstream products and companies, with few halls actually fully utilised.

However, traffic in some of the key exhibition halls on the first day appeared to be very busy, though this was not the case across all the halls.
