Intersolar North America’s 2012 conference participants will have the opportunity to participate in the 7th PV Briefing & Networking Forum USA on July 11th. Attendees will be privy to macro and micro views of developments in the US PV market. The show will kick-off with a view on current market situations in California at “The Californian PV Market – Scenarios for 2012 and beyond.”

Audience members will be able to exchange ideas, thoughts and opinions with panellists regarding the topic, “How to ensure sustainable growth in California and the US?” Market professionals such as Thomas Koerner from Astronergy, Donald Miller of Enerparc, Thomas Knepi from Centrosolar, Spencer Smith of Q.Cells and Matthias Altieri from Thomas Lloyd will be participating.

The panel intends to discuss topics such as whether or not the US needs to increase its renewable energy target goals at the state level to help increase solar development and the rapid growth of the US rooftop PV market, its long-term potential and the changing role of PV manufacturers, distributors and installers. Program organizers note that the panellists will also take an in depth look at the California PV market, specifically, the impact FiT pricing mechanisms have had on market development.

The forum will take place on July 11 from 2:30 to 5pm at Intersolar’s Innovation Exchange Area in San Francisco’s Moscone Centre.
