  • U.S. Patent #7,968,791: Entitled “Solar Energy Collector System,” the patent protects design attributes involving lining up coupled solar collectors into a collector row that is centred on a longitudinally-orientated axis. This is claimed to deliver more effective system design and layout to maximize energy production.
  • U.S. Patent #7,952,057: Entitled “Reflective Surface for Solar Energy Collector,” this patent includes Skyline Solar’s reflective rack design that reduces the amount of materials required for structural support.
  • U.S. Patent #7,932,461: Entitled “Solar Collector Framework,” this patent covers overall design characteristics in relation to positioning of Skyline’s collectors, troughs and other system elements.

“With tens of thousands of hours of performance data and several successful installations, Skyline Solar’s technology is amongst the most proven in the CPV industry,” said Tom Rohrs, CEO of Skyline Solar. “Along the way, we’ve worked to patent and protect the key intellectual property elements that generate significant performance and BoS cost improvements that drive overall LCOE. We’re committed to continuing our innovation in the areas of system design, installation, manufacturing and upgradability to deliver maximum value to our customers, partners and investors, and drive the industry forward.”
