JA Solar rings in New Year with new CFO

JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. has brought on board a new Chief Financial Officer to steer the company’s finances for 2009 and beyond. Anthea Chung will replace Daniel Lui as CFO, while Mr. Lui switches roles to become the company's new chief strategy officer, in which role he will pursue strategic business opportunities worldwide. Ms. Chung joins JA Solar from her former CFO role at Solar Enertech Corp.

Bringing over 16 years of financial management experience to the role, Ms. Chung preceded her role at Solar Enertech Corp. with a three-year stint as vice president and corporate controller at RAE Systems. Other previous employs include a time as corporate controller at TLZ, Inc. and as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has a B.Sc. in accounting from Indiana University and is a C.P.A. in California.
