PV manufacturer Jinko Solar has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lingwu City government for a 200MW solar plant.
The 200MW ground mounted solar PV plant will be built and financed by Jinko, which will also invest in other PV facilities as part of the agreement. An estimated investment of RMB4.6 billion (US$754 million) is required for the project.

Once approved by the local development and reform committee, the plant will be built in Lingwu City in the Ningxia Hui Region of north China and connected to the state grid.

Jinko operates largely in China, but recently gained certification for its modules to be sold in Japan and the UK, and supplied modules for a project in Chile.
