In March, PV-Tech reported juwi’s expansion plans with the addition of Martin Winter as chief financial officer. Effective July 1, Winter will be responsible for corporate finance as well as accounting and controlling. He will be working alongside founders Fred Jung and Matthias Willenbacher as well as Jochen Magerfleisch, who holds the position of chief operating officer.

The company enthuses that business graduate Winter had previously advised juwi on financial matters as a partner at consulting firm Schwabe, Ley und Greiner. He helped the company develop its liquidity plan and designed its treasury concept.

In his eleven-and-a-half years as a consultant, Martin Winter has worked with many different companies - from DAX-listed groups to classic mid-sized businesses. He began his career in the construction sector. He was responsible for the commercial auditing of major projects in Asia for the Philipp Holzmann Group. At 31, he was the head of internal auditing for the group. He later became the head of finance for the construction company SÜBA.
