Karlheinz Hornung nominated for seat on Q-Cells supervisory board

Q-Cells' general meeting on June 24 of the supervisory board will hold an election for a new board member with Karlheinz Hornung as the nominated party. Current board member, Andre Lee, has resigned from his office. Incumbent chairman, Marcel Brenninkmeijer, will make the office as chairman available and propose Hornung for this position at the general meeting as well, if Hornung is elected to the supervisory board. Brenninkmeijer will continue as a member of the board for Q-Cells.

Hornung has an extensive background as a tax advisor, in finance and controlling, information systems, human resources and investor relations. He was previously a member of the board for MAN AG. He was also appointed as honorary professor at the Technical University Dortmund, Germany and chairman of the foundation board of EBS, where he was nominated for an honorary doctorate degree in business economics.
