Following the energy conference in Amman last October, the Kirchner Solar Group has entered into an agreement with sonnen_systeme Projektgesellschaft GmbH, the Deutsche Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG) and the Berrou Ingenieur Consult GmbH in cooperation with the University Rostock from Germany, to aid Jordan in becoming energy independent through solar power.
The project will be executed in Jordan, where Kirchner Solar will work alongside the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, National Center for Research and Development (energy program), Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU), and Al-Jaar Est. for Environmental and Industrial Consultations (AEEIC).
The partnership is looking to exchange of information in order to develop innovative PV systems to be installed in Jordan, as well as vocational and educational training for public decision makers and local technicians to raise awareness.
