According to reports from Larsen and Toubro, its solar unit landed an Rs 125 crore order for turnkey EPC services for 10MW of solar PV systems. No further information was given regarding the contract, but the company advised that it continues to see growth opportunities in India’s solar market simply because the country intends to increase its solar capacity to 20,000MW by 2020.

“We see a lot of potential in solar power sector and have deep rooted long term plans for this business. Developers are taking up projects and achieving financial closure fast.
