Verengo Solar, a US solar company, has named Lloyd Sargeant as the company’s vice president of sales and development. In this role, Sargeant will manage the company’s growing national sales division with a particular focus on expanding into new markets on the east coast of the US.

Sargeant has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Most recently, he was the managing director of Countrywide’s Full Spectrum Lending unit, where he grew the national sales team from 100 account executives to 8,000 over a ten-year period.

Commenting on his new role, Sargeant stated, “I am excited to join Verengo, and to help spearhead our campaign to become the most trusted solar company in America. We have an opportunity to provide clean, affordably-priced solar to hundreds of thousands of middle class homeowners who aren't aware today of how significant their savings can be.”
