Monocrystalline PV manufacture Longi Silicon Materials has signed an agreement with the authorities of Kaiping District of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, China to build a 100MW agricultural PV power plant in 2016.
Longi said in a financial statement that the project would require an investment of around RMB800 million (US$125.5 million), subject to local land approvals and other support.

The project was planned to start construction in May 2016 with completion in December 2017.
