Working with China’s CHINT Group, Korea’s LSIS advised that its 14.5MW Yambol, Bulgaria solar plant has been completed. The Korea Times noted that the firm invested between €30-44 million for the construction of the plant, which it expects to help enhance its European solar business presence.
``In Eastern Europe, LSIS plans to increase its stakes by providing a plant-based solar business, while the company is set to raise brand awareness in Western Europe by exporting various patented solar-related solutions for households,’’ stated company spokesman Kim Bong-kyu.
LSIS confirmed that its next cash-generating business lies in solar. Vice Chairman and CEO, Koo Ja-kyun, aims to lead the company to become a total solutions provider for modules, inverters, design and construction.
