Mage Solar and Paradise Energy have completed the installation of a 1.1MW PV system for concrete manufacturer Martin Limestone.
The ground-mount system is located at Martin Limestone’s New Holland block and ready-mix manufacturing facility on two hectares of leased land. It is equipped with 4,480 Mage Powertec Plus modules which will help to generate an estimate 1.5 million kWh of electricity every year.

The system was constructed in four months by Paradise Energy who will continue to monitor the system for optimal maximum power production.
The concrete manufacturer will buy electricity produced from the array under a fixed-rate 25-year power purchase agreement signed with Sunstream Energy, a sister company of Paradise Energy.
The project was partly financed by the Department of Treasury’s 1603 grant programme, which covered 30% of the project costs.
