Hewson will be charged with maintaining product quality and efficiency at DEK Solar

DEK Solar has appointed Martin Hewson as its new business unit manager of alternative energy systems. In the newly-created role, Hewson, who has been promoted from his position as DEK’s production coordinator, will be responsible for maintaining product quality, reduced lead times and customer service during the operational processes. He will also act as an intermediary between the company’s sales and engineering teams.

“Here at DEK, we’re continuously targeting improvements - from the innovations we deliver through to the service with which we deliver them. Lean is very important within this and part of my new role is to ensure we’re pioneering lean principles throughout the business,” said Hewson.

I’m delighted to be embarking on a new challenge at DEK Solar, as part of a highly-committed team focused on helping our customers achieve more. In my new role, I’ll be helping to ensure we not only meet this surging demand - but exceed it!”
