Martin Stein to oversee Spire’s Product Development

Bringing more than 20 years’ experience to his new role as Vice President of Product Development, Martin Stein has been added to the Spire executive team to apply his expertise in the fields of advanced robotics, thin-film and photovoltaic applications to the company’s technology development. He joins the company from Brooks Automation where he held the roles of Director of Quality and General Manager of the robotics product group.

Earlier in his career, he worked with NASA on development of photovoltaic applications and materials for terrestrial solar cells. He also worked in conjunction with the Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health and Department of Energy on thin-film processes and equipment applications. He has B.S. degrees in physics and philosophy from Pennsylvania State University.
