Meyer Burger to begin construction of new headquarters

Meyer Burger will officially break ground on its new headquarters and production facility of MB Wafertec at Schorenstrasse in the city of Thun, Switzerland on January 10.

Construction on the new site is anticipated to last less than one and half years.

The US$51,829,500 project will house up to 600 employees at a 301,389 square foot facility. Following the groundbreaking for their new facility, Meyer Burger looks forward to laying the foundation stone on March 3.
