Martifer Solar’s subsidiary, Mprime, advised that its PV modules had been recognized through the Brazilian program of energy efficiency and performance, the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO), as being Class A energy efficient. The modules are manufactured in Portugal and are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 certified.

"The recognition by INMETRO is very important for MPrime as it clarifies to the entire Brazilian market the Class A in energy efficiency of our photovoltaic modules. MPrime's strategy aims to create value for all its partners and clients, investing in quality, reliability and speed of delivery. Now we are able to offer a high quality product at very competitive prices, contributing to the country's sustainable development", stated Pedro Alves, MPrime's general manager.
