Nanometrics has revealed that James Moniz will be retiring from his position as chief financial officer, effective April 1, 2011. Moniz is leaving the company to spend more time with his family but will remain in his role while Nanometrics searches for a successor.

Jim has built a strong team and is leaving behind a solid foundation to support our company's continued growth," said Timothy Stultz, president and chief executive officer of Nanometrics.
