Taiwan-based crystalline solar cell producer, Neo Solar Power (NSP) reported January 2012 monthly sales of approximately US$22 million (NT$850 million), up from NT$663 million in December.

Taiwan-based crystalline solar cell producer, Neo Solar Power (NSP), said in early January it would allocate resources to establish a systems business unit focused on commercial and utility-scale PV markets. NSP is following other manufacturers such as MEMC and SunPower into the downstream market. NSP had previously noted that ASPs, sales and shipments decreased sharply in December 2011.
