Order Focus: Bentek Solar to supply 170MW of products to California project

Bentek Solar has been awarded a contract to supply products to the 200MW mega utility-scale Centinela Solar Energy Facility project in Calexico, California.

Alongside Yingli Green and Fluor Corporation, designer and manufacturer Bentek will supply 170MW of its 1000VDC ungrounded string combiners and cable harnesses. Shipments are scheduled to begin in early 2013 and will extend throughout the year.

“In just the last six months, Bentek Solar has been awarded nearly 500MW of new utility-scale PV projects and has shipped nearly 2GW of balance of system PV products in the last two years,” said John Buckley, Executive Sales and Marketing for Bentek Solar.
