China Sunergy wins 260MW module deal with China Power Investment

PV manufacturer China Sunergy (CSUN) has secured a 260MW module supply deal with China state-owned utility, China Power Investment Corporation. 

The bid was won by China Sunergy’s EPC subsidiary CEEG (Nanjing) Renewable Energy Co to be used in a number of ground-mount PV power projects across China over the next 12 months.

The company had total shipments of 767.8MW in 2014, including solar modules processed under OEM arrangements of 110.4MW, and solar cells processed under OEM arrangements of 69MW. Module nameplate capacity stood at 1.1GW at the end of 2014.
