Day4 Energy has signed a 10MW solar module supply frame agreement with southern German integrator Solera sunpower. The deal marks the latest expansion in the two companies' business relationship, which began in 2009.
Solera recently installed 150KW of Day4's crystalline-silicon photovoltaic panels on two complete streets of housing developments in Immendingen, Germany.
“Based on our positive experience with the Day4 Energy module performance, the evolving conditions of the German feed-in-tariff system forecasted for 2010 and our focus on the best quality PV solutions, we chose to continue our partnership with Day4 as our major supplier of solar modules,” said Silvano Jakob, CEO of Solera.
“We appreciate [Solera's] previous installation success with Day4 modules and look forward to working with them this year as they continue to grow,” said Tim Morath, Day4's director of sales for Central Europe. “One of the rewards of a strong quality brand is the continued business and confidence in the product that we enjoy from our repeat customers. We look forward to a continued strong working relationship with Solera on these projects as well as other opportunities in the future.”
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
