ReneSola, a Chinese manufacturer of solar wafers and solar modules, has signed an agreement to sell 8MW of its high-performance monocrystalline solar modules to True Value Solar. The latter is an Australian solar specialist and, it claims, is one of the country’s leaders in solar PV installations.

As part of the terms of the deal, ReneSola will deliver 8MW of its high-quality, high-performance monocrystalline solar modules to True Value Solar’s distribution sites in Australia by the end of August 2012.

ReneSola is already a supplier of PV modules to the Australian market. Most recently, it sold 5.95MW of its Virtus modules to Australian distributor Solargain PV, and it expects to supply more modules to the company in the future.

ReneSola’s chief executive officer, Xianshou Li, stated, “This contract reflects the quality of our products as well as our commitment to research and development. Moreover, our business continues to grow in Australia, where our year-to-date shipments now top 45MW and brand awareness of our products, particularly our Virtus line, continues to improve.”
