ABB Group member, Power-One said that after sales technical support for its installed base of PV inverters in Greece would be outsourced to Athens-based, Survey Digital.
The outsourcing deal will mean that Survey Digital will take over and operate Power-One’s technical support hotline, including spare parts logistics as well as inverter replacements throughout Greece.

Power-One’s existing sales partner network as well as Survey Digital’s network will remain in place.

Now that our installed base in Greece has reached a significant milestone, this partnership was necessary to enable us to continue to honour system warranties and provide the best after sales support for our customers”.
Survey Digital noted that it had garnered four years of field experience in supporting PV inverter systems and advanced power electronics troubleshooting.
Power-One did not say what the operational cost savings the outsourced deal would generate.
In 2012, the company was successful in supplying central PV inverters to utility-scale projects in Greece using its liquid-cooled, ‘ULTRA’ series systems.
