Voltaix appoints two veteran materials experts to its ranks

Voltaix has hired two industry veterans from the materials sector of the semiconductor industry to support its growth in both semiconductor and photovoltaics industries. Gregory T. Muhr has been appointed as Global Sales Manager and Jay Song, Ph.D. as Technical Marketing Director.

Mr. Muhr has more than 20 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry in various technical, product management and sales capacities at Air Products, Epichem and SAFC Hitech. He holds a degree in Chemistry from Dickinson College. Greg is an inventor of three U.S. patented technologies.

Dr. Song has more than 18 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry in various capacities at several companies, including Electro Scientific Industries, Novellus Systems, National Semiconductor, and LG Semiconductor. Jay holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is an inventor of two U.S. and nine Korean patented technologies.

Voltaix is a producer of high purity specialty gases and chemicals.
