The PV materials manufacturer DuPont has completed a 4.5MW array at its Cernay facility in France.
It is the largest of the company’s 13 PV installs on its own land. It is also the largest ground-mounted PV site in Alsace region of the country.

The site includes 18,400 JinkoSolar panels featuring DuPont’s Solamet metalisation pastes and its Tedlar polyvinyl fluoride film-based backsheets.
The six hectare project has a 20-year power purchase agreement with energy provider Eléctricité Réseau Distribution France (ERDF).

According to DuPont, the Cernay project is expected to provide an annual carbon offset of 1,916 tonnes.
DuPont has now installed a total of 8.2MW across 13 owned sites.
