According to a report by Photon, Italy’s Conto Energia V, which began August 27, will operate with a budget of less than €530 million, after it was originally expected to have a budget of €700 million. The report noted that the complete figures for Conto Energia IV are not yet available as systems are still being entered into the list. The country’s current annual cost of PV is said to be at €6.17 billion. Once the €6.70 billion cap is reached, Italy will not offer any further incentives for PV installations.
