CleanFund provides US$10 million in PACE financing for C&I project in California
A 5MW solar PV plant is to be deployed in California’s Pacific Ethanol industrial facility thanks to CleanFund’s US$10 million commercial PACE funding.
CleanFund’s financing is the largest commercial PACE loan of its kind, designed to provide long-term backing for commercial and industrial (C&I) properties. Pacific Ethanol, a producer and marketer of low-carbon renewable fuels, is to both purchase and install a new 5MW PV plant for its Maderia-based biorefinery in California.

The plant is expected to begin operation in early 2018 and will sell its power to local utility Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
GameChange Solar installs 17MW ground mount systems on Massachusetts landfills
Commercial and utility-scale solar racking provider GameChange Solar has installed 17MW of its precast ballasted systems on five landfills in Massachusetts.
The systems were installed by an unnamed leading EPC for a landfill developer. The systems feature integrated grounding and wire management, withstand wind speeds of up to 150mph and have a 20-year warranty.
Hero Future Energies commissions 1MW rooftop solar project
India’s Hero Future Energies has commissioned a 1MW rooftop solar project for four educational institutions in Delhi.
The project was designed, installed and commissioned by HFE’s in-house team. Cumulatively across all four technical universities, the system displaces 1131 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
HFE’s rooftop solar system portfolio now comprises of 15MW to date.
