Satcon teams with Survey Digital as preferred reseller

Satcon, a supplier of distributed power solutions in the renewable energy market, has signed a preferred reseller agreement with the Greek-based company, Survey Digital.  The agreement marks 700MW of solar power as a goal by the end of 2009, instead of the €0.40-€0.50 feed-in tariff established in 2008 by the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE).

The new agreement allows Survey Digital to be the preferred reseller of Satcon solutions, including solar PV inverters such as PowerGate Plus for countries such as Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.  The PowerGate Plus solar PV inverters have eleven power ratings from 30kW to 1MW and have outdoor-rated enclosure, advanced monitoring and control capabilities.

Dr. Konstantinos Daniilidis, founder of Survey Digital, said, "With the combination of one of the highest feed-in tariffs for PV production in the world, generous subsidies and a favorable consumer climate, Greece has quickly become a very exciting marketplace to invest in utility scale PV projects.”

    Photovoltaics International 16th Edition

This sixteenth edition of Photovoltaics International marks four years of production of the quarterly journal. As always, our focus is on efficiency and quality improvement and cost reduction in manufacturing. As 2012 rolls along, companies are falling by the wayside due to supply and demand issues, ASP declines and drastic governmental subsidy cuts.
