Schletter provides tracking systems for PV project in Israel

PV mounting system provider Schletter announced that it provided its own Schletter Solar Tracker System FS Track-1 trackers for a 55MW PV plant in Israel.

Schletter noted that its single-axis horizontal tracking system continually tracks the sun during the day, producing a 25% higher power yield.

The plant, located in the settlement of Ohad in the Negev Desert, is comprised of 180,000 modules and covers an area of almost 100 hectares. The installation is expected to generate 110,000 MWh of energy per year — enough to supply electricity for up to 55,000 homes.
