SMA Technologie AG appoints new President and General Manager

A subsidiary of SMA America, Inc., SMA Technologie AG, a solar inverter manufacturer, has appointed Jurgen Krehnke to the roles of President and General Manager, with responsibility for the company’s sales, marketing and manufacturing. He replaces Pierre-Pascal Urbon, who serves as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer.

Krehnke joins SMA Technologie from his former role as CMO for IntellaSys, a digital media semiconductor solutions company. He has also worked for NXP Semiconductors in marketing and business development roles, and in all spent 15 years with Philips Semiconductors. He has a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany.

SMA Technologie AG is a solar inverter manufacturer.
