Solar 3D names Nadir Dagli as chief scientific adviser

Dr. Nadir Dagli has been named the new chief scientific advisor for Solar 3D. His role will see him guide the company in the development of its technology and prototype by using his background in photonics and semiconductor industries.

Dagli received his PhD in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is credited with establishing various breakthrough technologies in photonics and contributing significant advancements to compound semiconductor electro-optic modulators for high-speed telecommunication systems.

Aside from teaching electrical and computer engineering at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), Dagli has chaired and served on the technical program committees and advisory committees for numerous leading conferences. He is author and co-author of over 150 journals and conference publications.
