Although financial details were not disclosed, SolarWorld subsidiaries in the US and German have built and sold three PV power plant projects that had a total combined capacity of 46.3MW.
Project developer arm in Germany, Solarparc sold a 21.3MW plant to German institutional investor, White Owl Group. The German project is located on the Pütnitz Peninsula, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany.

In the US, SolarWorld Americas sold two power plants in Twentynine Palms, California, with an overall nominal capacity of 25MW to Duke Energy Renewables.
However, the twin projects was said to be under construction and be completed and commissioned in the second quarter of 2013.
In total, 87,998 SolarWorld ‘Sunmodule’ Plus 230 – 245 Wp poly modules were used at the Pütnitz plant, while 100,000 SolarWorld Sunmodule Plus modules are to be deployed at the two US projects, including SolarWorld Suntrac, single-axis trackers.
