Effective immediately, John Tomaszewski and Soren Jensen have been named senior VP of operations, customer service and warranty and director of engineering, respectively, for SPG Solar.

Tomaszewski has worked for nearly twenty years with OEM and Tier 1-3 suppliers. He joins SPG Solar after serving as president for NaviAsia North America and China. Tomaszewski’s background includes executive positions in the consumer products, high tech, automotive and energy sectors. He graduated from the University of Illinois and went on to receive his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Like Tomaszewski, Jensen brings close to two decades of professional experience to SPG Solar. Specifically, Jensen has over 15 years of product development experience from the high tech and renewable energy fields. Prior to working at SPG Solar, Jensen oversaw the ground mount product development team at SunPower. He additionally served ten years with the steel manufacturing and cement industries, working with the development and commercialization of instrumentation processes. Jensen received his BS in mechanical engineering from The Engineering Academy of Denmark and an MS in ocean engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Doug May, CEO of SPG Solar, commented, "Our focus is on making solar an easy choice by delivering commercial solar services and products that provide both immediate savings and a great long-term energy solution. To achieve this goal, SPG Solar's engineering and operations organizations must be world-class. John's track record of excellence in operations, coupled with Soren's demonstrated expertise in engineering best-in-class solar products will further enhance our ability to serve as a leader in the commercial and utility-scale solar space."
