SPG Solar, a provider of commercial solar power products and services headquartered in California, US, has named Doug May as its new CEO.
May brings to the company over 30 years of experience in the domestic and international renewable energy sector. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Unirac. Previous to this role, he was vice president of worldwide sales, service and marketing at Xantrex.
Commenting on May’s suitability for the role, Lisa Schule, board member and managing director at Global Environment Fund, stated, “Doug demonstrates a focus on putting customers' needs first, which in turn has allowed him to build trusted brands that deliver innovative products and services to drive exponential growth. That focus on customers and delivering best-in-class products and services makes Doug the ideal candidate to lead SPG Solar into its next phase of growth.”
