A third-party financing deal has been struck between De Lage Landen Financial Services (DLL), a global provider of financing solutions with Canadian Solar for the US commercial PV market. With the US utility-scale PV market as well as the US residential market booming, component suppliers such as Enphase Energy are already attempting to revitalize the commercial sector after recent reports from the SEIA and GTM research identified that the market segment was floundering.

According to Canadian Solar the new Financial Solutions program provides commercial PC project developers the option to have financed the complete project, subject to qualification along with "favourable terms" of up to 120 days on purchases for its commercial installer and solar developer partners.

“Given the currently challenging environment, we are proud to partner with DLL to help our customers secure the financing they need for their end-user customers -- financing that they would otherwise have difficulty obtaining on their own," said Alan King, general manager of Canadian Solar USA.
