Sungrow to provide EPC for GCL’s 50MW PV project in China

Sungrow Power has entered into an agreement with Yu County Jinyang New Energy, a subsidiary of GCL New Energy, for Sungrow to provide EPC services for a 50MW PV project in Shanxi Province, China.

The ‘New Jinyang Project’ at Yo County, Yangquan City, costs an estimated RMB412.5 million (US$66.4 million), according to a filing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The project comes after GCL New Energy entered three other agreements with Sungrow over the past year for the purchase of a combined 70MW of centralised inverters.
