The recently promoted interim CFO of Suntech Power Holdings, Anlin Ting-Mason has stepped down from the position for personal reasons, according to an SEC filing. Current CEO, David King will assume the position of acting CFO while permanent replacement is sought. King had been CFO of the company before founder Dr. Shi relinquished the CEO role.

Ting-Mason is to remain within the company and continue to provide finance functions at the corporate level, the SEC filing stated.

Suntech has been reshuffling senior management positions as well as streamlining the top tier as part of a cost-cutting and restructuring strategy amid financial losses and massive industry overcapacity.
