Swiss research centre CSEM inaugurates PV labs

The Swiss non-profit research and technology organisation, the Swiss Centre for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM), today unveiled new PV facilities to include a 500m² cleanroom and 600m² module testing and production laboratories.

The new extensions to the PV Centre were made possible through funding from the Federal Council. The PV Centre in in Neuchâtel was founded three years ago and is a silicon cell-testing site that employs heterojunction technology (HJT), and has developed white and coloured panels.
