Swiss energy infrastructure firm absorbs Solare Datensysteme

Swiss energy infrastructure firm BKW has merged with solar monitoring company Solare Datensysteme.

Germany-based Solare Datensysteme, which developed the Solar-Log range. It’s products monitor around 9.9GW of solar capacity.

BKW is the largest grid operator in Switzerland serving 1 million customers and cited its diversification into an energy solutions provider.

Solare Datensysteme’s monitoring tools can be used with any inverter. It will also benefit from access to BKW’s customers as well as the ability to become involved with power trading.
